Qualifications and Experience

Department of Technical and Engineering Education and Training
Applicants should hold a PhD in Educational Management or equivalent plus relevant
teaching experience. The successful candidate will be required to teach the Theory and
Practice of Education and Pedagogics to students doing the Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary
and Higher Education. In addition, the incumbent should possess a strong knowledge of
heritage based education, which includes innovation and industrialisation. The incumbent
will also be expected to supervise Masters as well as PhD research students. Ability to use
blended learning and modular teaching approaches in course delivery is a must.
