FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES
The Communication Science Department is the newest addition to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. It houses the undergraduate Hons Bachelor of Communication Science degree. The Department runs Short Courses in Media and Communication, Media and Digital Marketing, Radio Short Story Writing, Graphics and Desktop Publishing as well as housing the British Council B2B Registration Centre Status for IELTS. Furthermore, the Department also runs a flagship of the University and Faculty: Abiyangu FM Radio Station. Interact with and draw clients into the station advertising clientele portfolio;
Ability to convince potential customer to buy in or sponsor radio programmes;
Initiate contract negotiations with clients;
Brand ambassador for the ecosystem: Radio, IELTS and Media Lab services and
Participate in sourcing for business in Outreach settings.

Higher National Diploma in Marketing /and a professional qualification in the field or a degree in Marketing;
Any additional professional qualifications or short courses in digital marketing would be a distinct advantage;
Membership with a Charted Institute of Marketing in Zimbabwe is an added advantage;
Developed capacity to manage station image and branding and
Minimum of 1 year working experience
