LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/FULL PROFESSOR: MINING ENGINEERING (3 POSTS)

Duties and Responsibilities

-Teaching and University Service: The incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Departmental and/or Faculty guidelines and standards
-The incumbent should also participate in all Department, Faculty and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conferences, committees and seminars, among others
-Research: The incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University
-Innovations: The incumbent is expected to bring innovations, which should lead to production of goods and services
-Industrialisation: The incumbent should be industrial through commercialisation of innovations, establishing start-ups, and building industries to produce goods and services that foster economic growth
-Community Services: The incumbent is expected to apply academic expertise to address societal challenges and improve local community livelihoods
