QUALITY INSPECTOR – CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING UNIT
At least a Diploma in Chemical Technology, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Assurance or Biochemistry.
A qualification in Quality Management Systems, HACCP, or related quality assurance disciplines will be an added advantage.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing, laboratory, quality control, or quality assurance environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Ability to conduct quality inspections and basic laboratory testing of chemical products.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Proficiency in the use of quality control and laboratory equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, packaging materials, and finished chemical products to ensure compliance with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, among others:
-Inspecting raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
-Conducting routine quality checks and sampling during production processes.
-Identifying and reporting non-conforming products and recommending corrective actions.
-Maintaining accurate inspection records, quality reports, and product release documentation.
-Monitoring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety requirements.
-Collaborating with production and laboratory teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve product quality.
-Conducting routine audits of production and storage areas to ensure adherence to quality standards.
-Assisting in training production personnel on quality assurance procedures and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience
