Job Summary:
The Head Chef will lead kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, consistency, and efficiency while managing kitchen staff and maintaining strict food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning and food preparation
-Develop and standardize recipes to ensure consistency and quality
-Supervise and train kitchen staff, including senior and junior chefs
-Monitor food costs, stock levels, and minimize wastage
-Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
-Coordinate with management on menu updates and special events
-Maintain high presentation and quality standards at all times
-Handle supplier relations and ensure timely procurement of ingredients
Requirements:
-Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or related field
-Proven experience in a senior kitchen role
-Strong leadership and organizational skills
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
