Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position in Harare. The successful candidate will report to the IT Manager.
Job Summary
To manage the organizations’ IT infrastructure and ensuring users in the organisation can fully utilise IT resources. IT infrastructure includes all hardware, servers, desktops, networks, phone systems, security solutions and cloud technologies.
Duties include:
Installing, supporting, and maintaining the organisations IT infrastructure as well as planning for and responding to service outages and other related problems.
Ensuring the organisations IT solutions conform to best practice standards.
Providing second level user support services to all IT users in the organisation, and escalating any challenges to the IT Manager.
Designing and implementing business continuity practices (BCP) for the organisation.
Scouting for IT solutions that enable the business to enhance operational effectiveness.
The Person
Holder of a Degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 3 years’ in similar role.
Knowledge of Cisco based networks
Knowledge of windows server operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions (Azure and Office 365)
Knowledge of plant automation solutions would be an added advantage
