job Description

The one that ensures reliable, safe and efficient generation, distribution and utilisation of thermal and electrical energy.Develop strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel and operational costs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct inspections, troubleshooting and performance assessments of thermal and power equipment.
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for energy-generation equipment.
Monitor fuel consumption and recommend measures to improve fuel efficiency.
Ensure electrical and thermal systems operate within required technical and safety standards.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process engineering teams during plant operations and maintenance.
Investigate equipment failures, power interruptions and thermal-system inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare technical reports, energy-performance reports, operating procedures and maintenance documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree / Diploma in Thermal Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
