The Programs Intern will support the implementation and coordination of program activities. The intern will work closely with program staff, contribute to field activities, and develop professional skills in research, reporting, and community engagement.
• Support the design, planning, and coordination of program activities and events.
• Assist in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, including data collection and analysis.
• Draft and edit meeting notes, and reports for internal and external use.
• Contribute to community engagement activities, workshops, and field visits.
• Facilitate training sessions for program beneficiaries under the guidance of program staff.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the programs team.
• Assist in knowledge management by maintaining program records and filing systems.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to strengthen program delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in program management, NGO operations, or community development.
• Strong interest in NGO/development work and commitment to learning.
• Good research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis tools is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to travel to field sites when required.
