Job Title: Procurement Officer (Contracts)
Grade: 9
Department: Office of the Town Clerk
Reporting to: Compliance Officer
Location: Gweru
Closing Date: Monday, 10 November 2025 at 15:00hrs.

-Ability to ensure each procurement decision is based on adequate information, made in good faith, for a proper purpose and in line with the Procurement Act in the best interests of Council.
-Problem-solving ability; ability to work in teams demonstrating patience and flexibility.
-Monitoring contract performance and compliance; ensuring all parties fulfil their obligations and contractual requirements.
-Maintaining accurate, up-to-date contract records and documentation, including contract changes, renewals and amendments.
-Bachelor’s Degree Honours in Purchasing & Supply or equivalent.
-Professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
-Valid membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
-At least 3 years post-qualification experience in Procurement Management.
-Clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
