About the Company
Din Tai (PVT) LTD is a fast-growing and dynamic company involved in chrome mining, processing, and export. We pride ourselves on operational excellence, transparency, and sustainable business practices. To strengthen our supply chain operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager with in-depth knowledge of chrome and mining industry supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for chrome ore and related materials.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Coordinate procurement planning and inventory management in line with production and export schedules.
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare procurement budgets, cost analyses, and supplier performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant mining regulations.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance departments to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Stay updated on chrome market trends, pricing, and availability to guide strategic procurement decisions.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within the mining industry, preferably in chrome operations.
- Strong knowledge of chrome ore sourcing, logistics, and supplier networks.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., CIPS) will be an added advantage.
