Job Description Zeal Resources (Private) Limited, a growing mining and mineral processing company, is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Metallurgist to join its technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing metallurgical operations, ensuring process efficiency, and maintaining high production and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Monitor and control metallurgical processes to achieve optimal metal recovery and product quality. •Conduct metallurgical test work and process evaluations for continuous improvement. •Analyze daily production data and prepare technical performance reports. •Supervise plant laboratory staff and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards. •Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize plant performance. •Implement process optimization initiatives and assist in new plant projects or upgrades.
Qualifications and Experience
•A Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. •At least 3 years of experience in metallurgical operations within a mining or mineral processing environment. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Knowledge of metallurgical software and process control systems is an added advantage. •Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
