Duties and Responsibilities

- Managing geospatial data related to the Municipality's assets, infrastructure and land parcels.
- Collecting, updating and organising spatial data from various sources such as surveys, aerial imagery and field data.
- Creating maps and visualizing for various departments and stakeholders.
- Developing thematic zoning utility maps and other spatial representations.
- Performing spatial analysis to support urban planning activities.
- Analysing demographic data, land use patterns, transportation networks among other spatial factors.
- Integrating geospatial data with other Municipal systems and databases.
- Providing training and technical support to staff members who use GIS software and tools.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Urban Planning Manager.
