Duties and Responsibilities
Key Functions -Lead the development, implementation, and periodic review of the communications and advocacy strategies -Develop and operationalize implementation of SOPs and guidelines for the department -Planning and budgeting -Mobilization of resources for departmental programmes. -Lead the promotion of the NAC brand and its visibility -Spearhead national commemorations, exhibitions, and public engagements -Oversee dissemination of relevant information to the public -Manage and coordinate media programmes (including social media) -Develop the Council’s content strategies for messaging -Oversee the Public Relations function of the Council -Monitor and report on the department’s operations
Qualifications and Experience
8 years’ experience in a relevant field with at least 3 years at supervisory level Relevant degree in Health Promotion, Communications or Journalism Relevant Master’s degree Clean drivers’ licence
