A leading hardware company is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll, inventory controls, cash flow management, and business performance analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. -Ensure compliance with ZIMRA, VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, NSSA, and other statutory requirements. -Maintain a valid Tax Clearance Certificate (ITF263). -Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions. -Oversee inventory controls, stock reconciliations, and stock takes. -Strengthen internal controls and support audits.
Qualifications and Experience
-Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.ACCA, CIMA, CA(Z), or equivalent. -Minimum 3 years in retail, wholesale, hardware, distribution, or FMCG. -Strong knowledge of ZIMRA regulations, taxation, payroll, and stock control. -Proficiency in Sage Evolution and advanced Microsoft Excel.
